Program Title: Urban Reflections

Growing older means experiencing new places, jobs, and relationships. Oftentimes, these experiences come with the challenge of finding your belonging within that new community. Some people find their hobbies, friends, and happiness quickly, while for others it may take much longer or never at all. How can this be when we are surrounded by so many people and things to do in the places we live? Our show is about finding purpose, enjoyment, and peace from a new situation. Everyone has the ability to feel loved and accepted by themselves and others, but it is that pursuit of happiness that contains one of life’s most important, yet difficult challenges. With music selections of “Urban Light” by James M. David, “Sheltering Sky” by John Mackey, and “City Trees” by Michael Markowski, we hope you enjoy West Salem’s 2026 Show, “Urban Reflections”.
